My Totally Awesome Review:

Brooklyn has spent most of her life in and out of the hospital. Her parents couldn't handle it so they gave her up. She has been with multiple foster families but they never last because they can't handle a sick kid and all the hospital visits. Brooklyn has been alone through it all. She didn't have anyone to rely on. All she had was herself. She is strong, brave and fierce.

Atlas is complicated. He can be a jerk at times but he really does mean well. He's been through war and suffers with severe PTSD and he lost the love of his life. He's been living a half life missing his other piece. 

He kidnaps Brooklyn but not with any malicious intent. In his mind his intentions while a bit skewed are good. He wants her heart. A heart that should only belong to him. He wants it to love him and only him. Things start to click in place as the story moves along. It's a heartbreaking read but worth it. I love all the side characters and hope they will get their own story. These two characters have had to endure so much.

Will atlas be able to let go of the past for the future that is standing in front of him? Can Brooklyn forgive Atlas for the secret he's keeping from her? Can two lonely souls who have went thru hell and back find the other half of their heart?
